Release 9 - All objects remade! 28 assets updated + 1 new one
Hello! Today's release includes a remake of every remaining object, finally closing the cycle of remakes. Zooming in on this devlog's image, you can clearly see the improvement - old images had jagged edges and didn't look very good from up close. It's been over two years since I started this project, and though I had to spend long periods of time without working on it, I'm very happy with how much it grew and how well it did.
Going forward, I'll try to avoid the need for huge retreads like this, as it was very time consuming to remake ~70% of the pack and I definitely burned out on it more than once, hence the long update times. Like always, the old images are on the extras folder in case anyone still has use for them.
I will spend some time focusing on other projects for now, as drawing assets by hand is quite time consuming and, if i'm honest, not that rewarding once asset cleanups remove most of what makes them unique. I am thinking of future asset packs where the whole piece is used instead of just linework - maybe a pack of portraits done with watercolor or acrylic paints! And, like always, feel free to request any specific objects you want added to the pack.
