Hello!
I'm Yuri. I write and make art.
Most of what I create ends up being at least marginally related to my other interests, which include archaeology and archival work. I've tried to diversify, but can't help it.
I created some free game asset packs which you can get at my OpenGameArt page. If you appreciate my free assets and wish to send some support my way, I have a Ko-fi page where you can tip me. I take writing, game asset and illustration commissions there or on my other pages (see below): ko-fi.com/croomfolk
Speaking of socials - wouldn't it be fun if the one platform itch.io encourages developers the most to link as a contact form suddenly disabled private messages for mostly everyone? Wouldn't it be fun if most itch.io devs became really hard to contact? On an unrelated note, now that you cannot contact me on Twitter because a billionaire manchild's ego has caused it to be blocked in my country, most of my handles on other websites are also croomfolk. You can find links to all my pages here on my Carrd: croomfolk.carrd.co
I worked in translating many different games to Brazilian Portuguese, some of which you may have heard of. I worked in the localization projects for Kenshi, Darkwood, Zachtronics' Opus Magnum, and Snowdrop Escape. The first two were a group effort, and the last two were solo jobs. I also translated a book on Jorge Luis Borges's works called Tar for Mortar and regularly contribute to the open-source translation of Cataclysm: Dark Days Ahead. If you would like to have your project translated, send me a message and we'll negotiate something :)
